TERMS AND CONDITIONS VINGIN Wines and Spirits

Please read carefully as when making any purchase or attending an event with VINGIN, you will be legally bound by our terms and conditions.   

IN-PERSON TASTINGS

1. For a client to confirm their booking and hold the date, VINGIN will require a non-refundable deposit of £100 to be paid within 21 working days of booking. 

2. The balance is required 14 days before the event based on the number of guests attending.  VINGIN operates on a minimum of 8 guests per party.  If the number of guests fluctuates, the client must advise VINGIN accordingly.  Individuals canceling with 7 working days prior notice will receive a refund less 25% providing the number of guests does not drop below 8.  Increased numbers will be invoiced separately or can pay cash on the day of the event. 

3. If the event is canceled – the deposit will be held unless another date can be arranged within 3 months and the deposit will be transferred to that date.   

4. If the event is canceled within 10 working days, before the event, then the balance amount (less the deposit) will be refunded minus any expenditure such as venue costs if not refundable. 

5. A guest can transfer their booking to another guest without charge. 

6. If for any reason a guest does not turn up for an event without prior arrangement, then there will be no refund. 

7. Anyone under the age of 18 is not permitted at these events. 

8. If for any reason out of our control, the event is unable to take place (e.g. weather, travel disruptions, or illness), a refund, less expenses will be offered or an alternative date agreed with 3 months.

9. VINGIN is not liable for any loss or damage incurred as a result of attending one of our events.  

VIRTUAL TASTINGS 

1. A non-refundable deposit of £100 required on confirmation of the date, balance payable 14 days before the event date. 

2. Events over 50 guests a non-refundable 25% deposit is required on confirmation date, balance payable 14 days before the event. 

2. Individuals cancelling 7 working days before the event will receive a refund (less 25%).

3. If the event is cancelled – the deposit will be held unless another date can be arranged within 3 months and the deposit will be transferred to that date.   

4. If the event is cancelled within 5 working days, before the event, then the balance amount (less 50%) will be refunded.  This is to cover any additional costs incurred ie postage and packaging.  

5. If any virtual event is cancelled after the wine tasting kits are dispatched, we would provide an e-booklet, emailed to all guests, to use the tasting kits as an 'at home tasting kit' rather than a refund. 

6. A guest can transfer their booking to another guest without charge. 

7. If for any reason a guest does not turn up for an event without prior arrangement, then there will be no refund.

9. If for any reason out of our control, the event is unable to take place (e.g. technical issues, illness), a full refund less expenses will be offered or an alternative date agreed with 3 months. 

10. If we dispatch wine/gin samples to countries outside the UK, this is at your risk.  We will investigate the most effective ways to get them there in time.  We cannot be held responsible for customs delays, although we will do everything we can to get these delivered on time.  If these are not delivered in time for the event the tasting fee, delivery charge and duty will still be invoiced.
